Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EBNB Nigeria platform ("EBNB", "we", "us", or "our"), including our website, app, and related services. By creating an account, browsing listings, or making a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

1. Who we are

EBNB is a booking platform that connects guests with hotels, shortlets, and other accommodation providers ("Properties") across Nigeria. We are an intermediary — we help you discover and book a stay, but the Property itself is responsible for providing that stay to the standard advertised.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date
  • You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login details secure
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a booking
  • We may suspend or close accounts that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or in violation of these Terms

3. Bookings and payments

When you book a stay through EBNB, you're entering into a contract with the Property, and EBNB facilitates that booking and payment on both parties' behalf.

Prices shown at checkout are the total amount due unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed through a secure third-party payment provider; we do not store your full card details on our servers.

Note: the exact cancellation and refund terms for a booking depend on the specific Property's policy, shown before you confirm payment. 4. Your responsibilities as a guest

  • Provide accurate booking details, including guest count and identification where required by the Property
  • Comply with the Property's house rules, check-in/check-out times, and local laws during your stay
  • Be responsible for any damage you cause to a Property beyond normal wear and tear
  • Not use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose

5. Listing a property with us

If you list a Property on EBNB, you confirm that you have the legal right to offer it for booking, that the information and images you provide are accurate, and that you'll honor confirmed bookings at the price and availability shown at the time of booking. We reserve the right to remove listings that are inaccurate, unsafe, or in violation of these Terms.

6. Reviews

Reviews should reflect a genuine experience with the Property. We may remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or unrelated to an actual stay. We don't edit the substance of reviews on behalf of Properties or guests.

7. Intellectual property

The EBNB name, logo, and platform design are our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or repurpose our platform's content or branding without written permission, other than to make personal, non-commercial use of the service as intended.

8. Limitation of liability

EBNB acts as a booking intermediary and is not the operator of any listed Property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, or conditions of a Property, including the quality, safety, or legality of a stay. Our platform is provided "as is," and we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Termination

You may stop using our services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms, without affecting any bookings already confirmed and paid for in good faith.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use EBNB after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
